    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Sacramento, CA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Call required: one night per week and up to every other weekend

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
    • Assist with advanced procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
    • Support peripheral vascular cases and operate within a Chest Pain Center-accredited, STEMI tertiary referral environment
    • Document accurately using Cerner EMR and Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation
    • Fulfill on-call responsibilities including one night per week and up to every other weekend
    • Collaborate with CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath Lab experience in a 3-room lab performing approximately 3,000 cases per year
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure valid in California
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Prior Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
    • Ability to wear and maintain a radiation badge (supplied by agency)
    • Must pass a required dysrhythmia (DYS) competency exam prior to contract start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with high-acuity interventional cardiac procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, and mechanical circulatory support devices
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Merge Hemodynamics documentation platforms
    • Experience in a STEMI tertiary referral or Chest Pain Center-accredited facility
