Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations in a 3-lab cath lab environment
Support complex procedures including complex PCIs, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, peripheral cases, and occasional device placements
Maintain a staff-to-room ratio of 3 staff per room, working alongside a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists
Operate and utilize GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and document patient care using Meditech EMR
Respond to call-back requests and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
Maintain professionalism, consistent attendance, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
Required certifications: RN, RT
Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes for on-call callback
Strong attendance record and professional conduct
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-volume cath lab managing complex cases
Familiarity with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR
Easy-going, collaborative personality with the ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented lab setting
