Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within an acute care hospital environment
Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure monitoring
Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures and recovery
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards within the cath lab environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
Current BLS certification required
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and cath lab procedures
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) lab setting
Familiarity with minimally invasive cardiac procedures and related technology
Prior travel nursing experience in a cath lab or cardiac specialty unit
