Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting at a full-service acute care hospital
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after cardiac procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certification required
- Travel nursing contract position – candidate must meet travel assignment eligibility requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab environment
- Familiarity with minimally invasive cardiac procedures and related monitoring equipment
- Strong critical thinking and ability to respond effectively in high-acuity procedural settings
