Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a single-procedure Cardiac Cath Lab alongside a team of full-time nurses
- Staff the pre/post procedure area, which includes 4 bays supported by 2 registered nurses
- Participate in STEMI call coverage on weekends when scheduled during designated coverage periods
- Perform on-call duties Monday–Saturday for post-PCI patients requiring return to the Cath Lab
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Wear and maintain a radiation monitoring badge throughout all applicable procedures — badge must be supplied by the placing agency prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license — must be active prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Radiation badge required — must be provided by the placing agency; not supplied by the facility
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with STEMI response and post-PCI patient management
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Familiarity with pre/post procedure care in a Cath Lab setting
