Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including support for STEMI receiving center cases
- Perform scrub and/or circulator roles as required within the Cath Lab environment
- Participate in call coverage, including 2 weekend call periods (Friday evening through Monday morning) per 13-week contract
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- May be required to float to a sister facility to meet unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
- Must be open to working weekends, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (local candidates may be considered at an adjusted rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered if the candidate profile is exceptionally strong
- Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-acuity cardiac interventional procedures
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to support sister facility float needs
