Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 5 Days/Week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call during the week and every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting throughout all phases of the procedure
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Operate and maintain specialized cardiac cath lab equipment in accordance with unit protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic documentation system
- Participate in on-call coverage during the week and every other weekend as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations during the week and every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures in addition to cardiac catheterization
- Familiarity with electronic health record and documentation systems used in acute care environments
- Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced cardiac procedural unit
