Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
Must be able and willing to scrub all procedures performed in the EP/Cath Lab setting
Perform and assist with procedures including pacemaker implantation (all types), ablations (all types), Watchman, and Cryoablation
Operate and utilize lab equipment including GE and ESI systems; document using Meditech and MacLab
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, RCIS, RT, CVT, and clinical coordinators across 2 Cath Labs and 1 EP Lab
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact eligibility)
Current ACLS certification required
EKG training required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting
Previous experience scrubbing all EP procedures in an acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous travel nursing experience
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-acuity lab environment
Ability to function independently with minimal orientation
