    Job Title

    Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

    Location

    Houston, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call approximately 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care within a 3-room Cath Lab suite performing a variety of Cardiac, IR, and Vascular procedures
    • Assist with EP cases and cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures
    • Apply strong clinical skills to manage a wide variety of procedures and patient populations, including critically ill patients
    • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating calm under pressure and strong critical thinking skills
    • Maintain required certifications including ACLS, BLS, and MRT license as required by the state of Texas for staff working with radiological equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab
    • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license required per Texas state regulations for Cath Lab staff working with radiological equipment
    • Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
    • Must be fully vaccinated; declinations are not accepted
    • Strong ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, or Radiology setting
    • Background in ICU, ER, or care of critically ill patients
    • RN Critical Care or Trauma certification
