Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD implantations, Watchman procedures, EP ablations (PFA), IR procedures, and vascular cases
Operate and assist with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment in accordance with procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation protocols
Document patient care using MERGE Hemo catheterization lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR
Function as part of a 3-member procedural team maintaining a 3:1 staff-to-patient procedure ratio
Float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed and participate in on-call rotation including one full weekend plus 2 weekdays per four-week schedule
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Ability to work a 10-shift, four-week schedule including weekend and on-call obligations
Preferred Experience / Skills
Electrophysiology (EP) experience, including familiarity with EP ablation procedures
Team-oriented and flexible work style with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced procedural environment
