Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Available start dates: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, or December 7
Key Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting, averaging 5–15 cases per day
- Documents patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility standards
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs
- Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN state license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP experience strongly preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume cath lab environments and EP procedures
