Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | No Weekends, Holidays, or On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and circulator roles during EP lab procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, and AICD implantation/programming
- Conduct and assist with baseline measurements, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies
- Administer and monitor emergency medications, IV vasopressors, antihypertensives, thrombolytics, and blood products
- Perform sheath removal and monitoring, topical hemostasis techniques, and vascular closure system management
- Operate and assist with Micropace monitoring system for ablation procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement as required clinical competencies
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license required at time of submission (pending license acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years of EP Lab RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (hard requirement)
- Ability to scrub procedures and operate Micropace monitoring system for ablations
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Activated Clotting Time (ACT) monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Familiarity with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
- Experience with implanted port care and maintenance
