Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and EP procedures in compliance with facility protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week
- Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health records system
- Wear and maintain a radiation badge (must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start)
- Be prepared to participate in emergency response activities during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
- Must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Familiarity with both Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology procedures
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating on-call requirements based on unit staffing needs
