Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (4x10s) | Monday starts available
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for patients in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Administer procedural sedation, perform cardiac monitoring, and administer cardiac medications
- Provide care within a Level III Trauma Center environment, drawing on critical care or emergency room competencies
- Maintain on-call availability on a regular basis for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be onsite and ready to work within 30 minutes of call-back; minimum 3-hour call-back requirement applies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — verified through Nursys
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN in a Level III Trauma Center
- Background in cath lab, critical care, or emergency room settings required
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures in addition to cardiac catheterization
- Familiarity with procedural sedation protocols in a high-acuity setting
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively to on-call situations
