Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting 8–10 cases per day
- Perform competently in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural cases
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, rotating first and back-up call)
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team within a short-term acute care, Level IV Trauma Center environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with demonstrated competency in Diagnostic, Interventional, and Structural procedures
- Active West Virginia RN license or Compact license required prior to start (pending license accepted for submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Must meet travel compliance distance requirements (permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility; 75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Minimum of 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a major teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care environment
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record charting system
- ARRT registration (note: RCIS credential alone does not qualify for Cath Lab practice in West Virginia)
