    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting 8–10 cases per day
    • Perform competently in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural cases
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, rotating first and back-up call)
    • Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team within a short-term acute care, Level IV Trauma Center environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
    • Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with demonstrated competency in Diagnostic, Interventional, and Structural procedures
    • Active West Virginia RN license or Compact license required prior to start (pending license accepted for submission)
    • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Must meet travel compliance distance requirements (permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility; 75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)
    • Minimum of 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required at time of submission
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a major teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care environment
    • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record charting system
    • ARRT registration (note: RCIS credential alone does not qualify for Cath Lab practice in West Virginia)
