    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Electrophysiology Lab (EP)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care within an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting during day shift hours
    • Perform and assist with EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
    • Manage drip and titration of anticoagulation and isuprel medications
    • Operate and document within the EPIC CUPID EMR system
    • Participate in on-call and callback responsibilities as required by the unit
    • Fulfill holiday coverage requirements as assigned by the unit (up to 1–2 summer holidays)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Iowa RN license required
    • BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
    • ACLS certification (AHA) required
    • Minimum 24 months of current Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
    • Demonstrated experience with cardiac ablation, CRM, and LAAO procedures required
    • Proficiency with drip/titration of anticoagulation and isuprel required
    • EPIC CUPID EMR experience required
    • Valid driver's license required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

    • Scrub experience in an EP or cardiac cath lab setting highly preferred
    • Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
