Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with rotating days off throughout the month. On-call requirement includes one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer moderate sedation to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and clinical stability
- Assist with procedure setup and breakdown in the Cath Lab environment
- Support a range of procedures including left heart cath, right heart cath, and peripheral interventions
- Assist with advanced interventions such as carotid stents, AAAs, TAVR, and device implants
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact license eligibility
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
- Ability to administer and monitor moderate sedation
- Availability for on-call shifts, including weekday and rotating weekend call
Preferred Experience / Skills
- More than two years of Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with advanced procedures such as TAVR, AAA repair, carotid stenting, and cardiac device implants
- Experience with both left and right heart catheterization procedures
