Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests. Provide direct patient care within a 2-suite Cardiac Cath Lab environment as part of a 4-person team per patient case
Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests
Utilize Cath Lab equipment including GE, IVUS, and Volcano systems; document using Merge Cath Lab Application and Meditech
Participate in call rotation: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 days per week
Float as needed to Cath Lab and Outpatient Stress Test areas per unit policy
Adhere to dress code requirements: solid color scrubs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Kentucky Radiology Tech licensure required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab-specific procedural experience
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with GE, IVUS, and Volcano Cath Lab equipment
Familiarity with Merge Cath Lab Application and Meditech documentation systems
Experience with a broad range of interventional and diagnostic Cath Lab procedures
