Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Monday – Friday | No Weekends | Every Other Holiday | No On-Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology (EP) procedures in a Level 1 academic teaching medical center setting
- Support and assist with EP studies, ablations, pulmonary vein isolations (PVI), and cryoablations
- Assist with cardiac device implants and explants, as well as cardioversions
- Monitor and assess patients throughout all EP procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality of care
- Must successfully pass an on-site Telemetry exam with a score of 85% or better
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Recent EP/Electrophysiology experience including Devices, EP Studies, Ablations, PVI, and related procedures
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Must pass on-site Telemetry exam with a minimum score of 85%
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 1 or academic teaching medical center environment
- Familiarity with cryoablation and advanced EP procedures
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a fast-paced procedural setting
