    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract / Travel)

    Location

    Austin, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform and assist with standard diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a high-volume lab environment
    • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care
    • Operate and troubleshoot Philips imaging equipment within the cath lab setting
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Participate in on-call rotation, averaging approximately 9 days per month including approximately 1 weekend per month
    • Collaborate effectively with a 3-person procedure team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
    • ARRT or RCIS certification required for technologist roles supporting the lab
    • Demonstrated ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced cath lab setting
    • Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with Philips imaging systems
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a very busy lab environment
