Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | On-call required every third weekend and 1–2 days per week; occasional holiday weekend call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct procedural nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assist physicians and the procedural team throughout diagnostic and interventional cath lab cases
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain a safe, sterile procedural environment in accordance with established protocols
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekend and occasional holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or EP lab setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
- Comfort and familiarity with on-call scheduling requirements in a procedural environment
