    Job Title

    Travel RN – Cath Lab Prep/Recovery Nurse

    Location

    Asheville, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week | 13-Week Assignment | Start Time: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare and recover patients undergoing Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures
    • Manage pre- and post-procedural care with patient ratios of 3–4:1; maintain 1:1 intraprocedural patient ratios
    • Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, and telemetry boxes
    • Document patient care using the Cerner electronic health record system
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including 4–5 weekday nights per 6-week schedule and approximately every 10th–11th weekend
    • Support IR, invasive CT, and invasive ultrasound cases within the Radiology Nursing unit
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
    • ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • Experience with cardiac diagnoses, with emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, and CVA
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred
    • Moderate sedation experience preferred
    • Critical care and/or procedural nursing background
    • Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
