Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases in the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting
- Participate in on-call rotation as required (details discussed during interview)
- Maintain compliance with facility orientation requirements, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
- Complete annual hands-on competency requirements as directed by the facility for continuous contract travelers
- Adhere to all facility compliance standards, including background check and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – permanent Ohio license or valid compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP specialty
- BLS certification – must be active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
- ACLS certification – must be active and in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
- One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18+ months of Cath Lab / EP experience within a single location preferred
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition
- Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume procedural environment
