Experience:
Minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience is required.
Experience in structural heart procedures is highly preferred.
Experience in electrophysiology is highly preferred.
Travel experience is highly preferred.
Scrubbing experience is preferred.
Circulating monitoring experience is required.
Must have experience in Trauma Level II settings.
Trauma Level I experience is preferred.
License:
Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license is required.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) is required.
ACLS (AHA) is required.
Must-Have:
Candidates must be willing to float across campuses if needed.
Candidates must have a skills checklist specific to the Cath Lab/CC specialty.
Professional references must be provided from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months of today’s date.
Description:
The position involves working in the Cardiac Cath Lab with the following schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a random day off during the week.
Contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Candidates will need to float across all campuses to like units as needed.
On-call responsibilities are expected, with an average of 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning.
Preceptor duties may be required as needed.
