Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA required.
Must-Have:
- 24 months of Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required.
- Circulating monitoring experience required.
- Professional references from charge nurse/supervisor/nurse manager/director within the last 24 months preferred.
- Trauma Level II experience required.
- Willingness to float across campuses as needed.
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab.
The position is for a duration of 13 weeks.
The shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, working four 10-hour days Monday through Friday, with a random day off during the week.
Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
Experience in circulatory monitoring is required.
Successful candidates must hold either an Iowa license or a compact multistate license.
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are mandatory for this role.
The nurse will be responsible for precepting as needed.
Candidates must be prepared to work one to two upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Experience in trauma Level II is required, and trauma Level I experience is preferred.
Candidates should possess scrubbing experience and demonstrate willingness to float across campuses when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in structural heart and electrophysiology procedures as highly preferred.
