Start Date: October 2026

Location: New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM). Average 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekend call shifts per month. No local candidates within 75 miles accepted.

  • Epic EMR system required
  • Comprehensive case mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, drain placements, biopsies, kyphoplasty, and special procedures
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Scrubs provided by facility
  • 40-hour orientation with pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)

Requirements:

  • Active New York RN license required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR-only experience not accepted)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Proficiency in IV placement and phlebotomy (mandatory competency)
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella insertion, angioplasty, stent placements, embolizations, drain placements, and procedural sedation
  • Familiarity with 12-lead EKG, dysrhythmia interpretation, Swan Ganz monitoring, and circulating/scrubbing procedures
  • Charge experience preferred
  • Time off requests limited to approximately one week
