Critical drip management
Monitoring and circulating cases
Experience with case procedures such as Diagnostic/Interventional, LHC/RCH, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, and peripheral interventions
Description:
This position is in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
The Cath Lab consists of 3 procedure rooms.
The average daily case load is between 5 to 15 cases.
Required skills include experience with moderate sedation and critical drip management.
The team includes charge RNs, receptionists, and available hospitalists/physicians after hours.
Respiratory Therapy support is also available.
The department utilizes technology such as EPIC for EMR, Phillips for hemodynamics, and Medrad for medication dispensing.
RNs must be able to manage and circulate cases effectively.
Weekend coverage is required, with two shifts needed for weekend coverage in a 4-week schedule.
On-call shifts are included, with expectations of a 30-minute response time.
Holidays may also have on-call requirements.
Self-scheduling is permitted, with manager approval.
Scrubs will be provided.
