Key Responsibilities of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist- Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology procedures
- Collect and record subjective data for accurate anatomical and physiological diagnosis
Requirements of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist- Associate Degree or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
