Must-Have:
Moderate sedation with Versed/Fentanyl experience.
Critical drip management experience.
Ability to monitor and circulate cases.
Experience with diagnostic/interventional, NSTEMI and STEMI; Impella, IABPs, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, and peripheral diagnostic/intervention.
Description:
This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
The Cath Lab consists of 3 procedure rooms.
The average daily case load is 5-15 cases per day.
Required skills include moderate sedation, critical drip management, and monitoring/circulating cases.
Support within the department includes Charge RN, Receptionist, Clientist, and Physician available after hours.
Technology includes EPIC for EMR, Phillips for hemodynamics, and Medrad for medication dispensing.
Weekend rotation includes call only, with 2 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule.
Weekday shifts may include 4-5 additional overnight call shifts with a 30-minute response time.
There is a possibility of being on call during holidays.
Scheduling is done in 6-week increments with self-scheduling available, subject to manager approval.
Scrub color is provided.
