Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) strongly preferred. Candidates must possess an active AK RN license at the time of application for an auto offer. The start date for this role is as soon as possible. The shift will consist of four 10-hour days each week. The position requires two years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Call is required for one day each week, including the fourth or fifth weekend. Candidates must be available for on-call duties, including approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled four shifts per week. Clinicians may float to EP or Interventional Radiology within the facility as needed. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Requests for time off will be reviewed on an individual basis upon offer. Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per two weeks, with a potential for being called off for one 10-hour shift during that period. This facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma center, recognized for excellence in healthcare. Staffed beds total 407. Charting is conducted using the Epic system. Special equipment used includes Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, and shockwave technology. Onboarding and training modules are designed to be completed prior to starting the role.
