Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 5, 2026 (ASAP start preferred)
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Call required 1 week every 2 months; 1-2 holidays on call per year

- Perform highly specialized procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator insertions, lead extractions, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- 6-bed EP Lab with state-of-the-art mapping systems and cutting-edge cardiology technology
- Multidisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and transportation
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with complex heart rhythm disorders
Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Proficiency in EP Lab procedures including cardiac ablation, device implantation, arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, and vascular closure systems
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- First-time travelers accepted
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal leadership role)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required

- Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to Ohio for fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking
- Remote candidates will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
