Description: The role requires a registered nurse to work in a Cath Lab setting. Candidates will be assessed for clinical fit. If deemed suitable, the candidate will proceed to an interview with management. The unit performs over 6,000 invasive cardiology procedures annually, including complex coronary and structural heart procedures. Nurses will care for patients requiring advanced cardiovascular treatment. Potential exposure to COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. No holidays are specified, and candidates may need to float as needed. Maximum RTO allowed is 7 days. Required skills include End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, cardioversion, and the ability to assist with central line insertion/management. Other necessary skills involve monitoring procedural sedation and obtaining 12 lead ECGs. Candidates should have experience with interventional and diagnostic catheterizations.
