Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Must be able to work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM. - Weekend availability as needed. - Call required with a 30-minute response time. Description: The role requires a registered nurse to work in a Cath Lab setting. Candidates will be assessed for clinical fit. If deemed suitable, the candidate will proceed to an interview with management. The unit performs over 6,000 invasive cardiology procedures annually, including complex coronary and structural heart procedures. Nurses will care for patients requiring advanced cardiovascular treatment. Potential exposure to COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. No holidays are specified, and candidates may need to float as needed. Maximum RTO allowed is 7 days. Required skills include End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, cardioversion, and the ability to assist with central line insertion/management. Other necessary skills involve monitoring procedural sedation and obtaining 12 lead ECGs. Candidates should have experience with interventional and diagnostic catheterizations. Strong experience in infection prevention and the interpretation/management of dysrhythmias is also required. The role includes blood product administration and interaction with various heart procedures. Candidates must meet the client’s specific compliance requirements.
