Weekends may be needed, and the candidate must be willing to stay until all patients are cared for. The candidate will undergo a pre-screen by clinical staff to assess clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical review and meets guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Interviews will be conducted by the manager. The unit handles invasive cardiology procedures, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices, and several structural heart procedures. The unit conducts over 6,000 procedures each year and has dedicated labs for both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology. The environment is tobacco and fragrance-free. Candidates may be required to care for COVID patients. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed. Call requirements must be met, along with readiness to float as needed.
