Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Day shift - will work 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM. Weekends as needed. Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call required (very minimal - mostly just assisting full-time staff as needed). Pre-screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit. Candidates who pass the clinical screen and meet guidelines will be sent for a final decision. Manager will interview candidates. COVID-19 vaccine is required. Medical and religious exemptions and declinations are allowed. Flu vaccine is required. Medical and religious exemptions only. Candidates should have experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Antiarrhythmics, and Antihypertensives. Candidates will assist with central line insertion/management, blood product administration, and catheter placements. Responsibilities include monitoring procedural sedation and performing various cardiovascular procedures. Experience in interventional cardiac catheterization and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations is essential. Candidates should be knowledgeable in infection prevention and able to interpret/monitor dysrhythmias. Additional skills required include starting and maintaining IVs and managing cardiac devices. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Floating is not applicable. Holidays coverage is not required. Work environment may include care of patients with COVID-19. Candidates should have a maximum of 7 days of requested time off. Unit is focused on invasive cardiology treatments, completing over 6,000 procedures annually.
