Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab!
Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab! You will play a crucial role in evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, setting priorities for care.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnosis, and health frameworks.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
Document care comprehensively based on established standards and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based practices in patient care and support the adoption of innovative strategies.
Deliver patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Critical care experience highly preferred.
Familiarity with EPIC and Sensis preferred.
Circulating nurse experience required.
Proficient in EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, and balloon pumps.
Experience in PCI, right heart cath, and left heart cath.
Experience with circulation during pacer insertion.
Knowledge of pulmonary embolism cases.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
BLS - AHA certification required.
ACLS - AHA certification required.
Telemetry certification required.
Shift: Day
40 hours per week
On-call requirement: Yes (4 weekdays and one weekend Friday-Sunday)
