The position requires specific certifications and licenses. Candidates must possess a valid California CRT License. ARRT or CCI RCIS/CCI RCES certifications are also acceptable. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is also necessary. The role involves various technical skills and medical procedures. End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and Activated Clotting Time (ACT) are essential functions. The nurse will perform angioplasties, central line insertions, and numerous other interventions. Emergency medication administration is required. The nurse will need to monitor procedural sedation and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. Knowledge of infection prevention protocols is critical. The nurse will be responsible for patient care, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of medical procedures.
