Description:
Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring.
Perform neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams.
Conduct hemodynamic monitoring on Cath Lab-specific equipment.
Administer conscious sedation on adults following facility policies and guidelines.
Conduct diagnostic hemodynamic monitoring and other non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess the cardiovascular system.
Assist in the recovery of Cath Lab patients as needed in the post-anesthesia care unit.
Common Equipment:
Philips imaging systems, Abbott Claris.
On-call required: Yes, 1-2 weeknights/weekend every 4 weeks.
No floating required within the scope.
No local candidates accepted, 75-mile rule applies.
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
Daily Census: 10 patients.
Number of Visits Per Day: 5.
Number of Rooms: 5.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
Patient diagnoses include acute and critical care.
Special procedures include hemodynamic monitoring and recovery assistance.
Special equipment includes EPIC EMR, Philips Xper Hemodynamic system, balloon pump management, and Impella.
References from positions held within the past year are required.
Candidates must have no employment gaps greater than 30 days.
Epic experience is strongly preferred for RN positions.
