Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a 2-suite Cardiac Cath Lab performing an average of 8 cases per day
• Assist with all cardiac invasive procedures including peripheral procedures such as carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention cases (structural heart procedures excluded)
• Operate and document within a Cerner EMR environment alongside Cath Lab/IR Techs and Cardiologists
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage; expected average of approximately 12 call days per month (may range up to 18 depending on staffing), with a 30-minute response time required
• Fulfill rotating holiday call assignments as scheduled
• Wear hospital-provided scrubs; no floating to other units required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the Cath Lab preferred; candidates without scrub experience will be considered
• Familiarity with peripheral IR procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention cases
• Prior experience as a Charge Nurse in a Cath Lab or procedural setting
