Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Previous experience in cardiac cath lab required Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the cardiac cath lab. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The nurse will be expected to participate in a weekend call rotation. Call requirements will range from 12-15 days depending on staffing needs. Candidates will float within the nursing scope to meet facility needs. This may include assisting in other departments when volumes are low. The nurse will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Special procedures include cardiac cath, PCI, and vascular procedures. The role also involves the complete pre and post care of all patients. Certifications in ACLS and BCLS are mandatory for this position. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and participate in holiday rotations. Travel experience is required, as this is a traveler position. Candidates must comply with fit testing protocols for respiratory clearance. A history of charge nurse experience will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
