Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations - Patient ratio experience Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Call duties are required for this position. Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed. Candidates must be open to working weekends and may be expected to exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. The nurse will be required to work 3 out of 5 major holidays. The position may require floating to other facilities as needed. This is an acute care setting with a diverse patient population. The nurse will be using an electronic charting system to document patient care. The role involves administering procedural sedation and monitoring patients during procedures. The candidate will be expected to interpret and manage dysrhythmias during patient care. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential.
