First-time travelers are accepted. No weekend shifts are required. Travelers will not be floating outside their scope. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Special requirements for the position include proficiency in circulating procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. The daily patient census includes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, AAA, ICD, pacemaker placements, TEE, cardioversion, IMPELLA, and STEMI interventions. Specific equipment experience required includes IABP and IMPELLA. The environment is an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed beds. The charting system used is EPIC.
