Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab- Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age and needs.
- Systematically re-assess patients to identify progress and required interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established time frames.
- Make nursing decisions based on evaluation outcomes and modify care plans accordingly.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Implement and document timely interventions suited to patient needs.
- Coordinate and delegate unit work assignments to ensure completion of care activities.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS Certification via AHA required
- Experience in Cath lab, IR, and EP settings
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient age/type served
- Effective communication skills suitable for developmental age of patients
