Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting coronary PCI and structural heart procedures
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Impella, IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump), and Penumbra
Administer and manage drips including vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout procedures
Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit

Required Qualifications
Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab / CCL experience
Experience with coronary PCI and structural heart patient populations
Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra equipment
Experience administering vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors
BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EPIC Cupid EMR highly preferred
Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
