Must-Have: 2+ years of ICU experience and 1+ years of experience as a Cath Lab RN preferred.
Description:
The Cardiac Catheterization RN acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department.
Collaborates fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Promotes a philosophy of patient and family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Focuses on understanding and meeting customer needs.
Prior traveler experience is preferred but not required.
Can support either 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts.
Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible during the contract, but no weekend or holiday shifts worked.
In a 13-week contract, expect 1-2 weeknights total and possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed).
The Cath Lab has 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR.
All procedure rooms have been upgraded within 1-5 years.
There is a 12-bay peri-procedural space for patient preparation and recovery.
The primary charting system is Epic, and hemodynamic measurements are done on a Siemens system.
The lab averages over 30 cases per day.
Case types range from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions.
