Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP setting during day shift hours
- Perform circulating and monitoring duties throughout cardiac catheterization procedures
- Scrub in on procedures as required by unit needs
- Precept new or less experienced staff as needed
- Float across multiple campus locations to like units as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, including callback response with a minimum two-hour callback commitment
Required Qualifications- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at time of submission
- Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience
- ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Discipline-specific Cardiac Cath Lab skills checklist required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Structural heart experience highly preferred
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
