Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – West Virginia

Start Date: October 1, 2026

Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call rotation. On-call requirements include 2-3 weekday nights (7:00 PM - 6:30 AM) as second call, and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM) rotating first and second call. 2-hour call-back minimum. Weekend call only. 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

  • Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per RN in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting
  • Perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural heart cases
  • Work at an 838-bed Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
  • Cerner charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
  • Minimal floating - primarily remain within Cath Lab specialty
  • Free parking for traveling clinicians

Requirements:

  • Active West Virginia or Compact State RN license (pending license accepted for submission; active license required by start date)
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience required
  • Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARRT registration required
  • Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
  • Must reside 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles may be considered with approval)
  • Charge experience preferred
