Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Full Time

Highlights:

  • On-call requirement: 1-2 weekends per month, 8-10 days per month
  • No floating required between units

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS Certification via American Heart Association (required)
  • ACLS Certification via American Heart Association (required)
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans according to established nursing standards
  • Monitor patient progress systematically and modify care plans as needed based on clinical evaluation
  • Document interventions and coordinate patient education and discharge planning
  • Delegate assignments appropriately and coordinate team activities to ensure quality patient care
  • Serve as a clinical resource to staff, physicians, visitors, and students
  • Participate in orientation of new staff members and contribute to unit quality improvement initiatives
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed
