Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – South Carolina
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available including 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts. Call required approximately every third week. Expect to work some holidays as needed.
Highlights:
- Interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab experience with angiography and vascular procedures
- Work with advanced interventional procedures including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), cardiac stent placement, and angioplasty
- Epic electronic medical record system utilized for charting and documentation
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
- Adult patient population with opportunity to work with complex cardiac cases
- May float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license (must be active at time of application; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
- Demonstrated competency in interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations for adult patients
- Proficiency with procedural sedation, monitoring, radiation safety, and emergency medications
- Skills in angioplasty, PCI, left heart catheterization, and cardiac stent placement
- Two supervisory references required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility location
