Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – South Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available including 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts. Call required approximately every third week. Expect to work some holidays as needed.

Highlights:
  • Interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab experience with angiography and vascular procedures
  • Work with advanced interventional procedures including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), cardiac stent placement, and angioplasty
  • Epic electronic medical record system utilized for charting and documentation
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
  • Adult patient population with opportunity to work with complex cardiac cases
  • May float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
Requirements:
  • Active South Carolina RN license (must be active at time of application; pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
  • Demonstrated competency in interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations for adult patients
  • Proficiency with procedural sedation, monitoring, radiation safety, and emergency medications
  • Skills in angioplasty, PCI, left heart catheterization, and cardiac stent placement
  • Two supervisory references required
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility location
