Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Candidates will assist with various procedures in a cardiac cath lab setting. The role requires proficiency in a range of skills, including but not limited to end-tidal CO2 monitoring, angioplasty, and central line management. Knowledge of infection prevention and procedural sedation is essential. Candidates must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Experience in procedures such as cardiac stent placement and pacemaker insertion is required. There will be a need for effective communication with interdisciplinary teams. Traveling nurses may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must commit to working a specified number of holidays as part of their contract.
