This position involves providing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The nurse will assist with various procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and performing necessary interventions. Experience in end-tidal CO2 monitoring and activated clotting time (ACT) is preferred. Candidates should be knowledgeable in cardiac stent placement, procedural sedation, and infection prevention. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage patient needs. Nurses will work with a small team and be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary support. Flexibility to meet unit needs and respond to call is required.
